Some of you may also know that I have been working on completing my "craft room" in our house. I am proud to say that I have finished scraping all of the glue off the walls, and even skim-coated the walls. All the trim has been sanded. Next, I need to sand the walls and then turn myself into a human sponge and wipe away all the dust. **Random picture in my head: me, wearing a big, wet & bubbly sweatsuit walking with my back pressed along each of the walls......maybe not the best idea.....
ANYWAYS, the point is this: my craft room is almost complete! We will soon be ready to prime and paint the walls! After that, we can roll away the blue carpet and my feet can tread on the long-time buried wood floor! Oh what a day that will be!
I recently re-discovered a fun site (www.polyvore.com) that allows visitors to create designs with clothes and other accessories. I was playing around with the site this morning, and this is what I designed:
Although my craft room will not contain any of my clothes, this is how I want to feel IN my craft room :-) I LOVE yellow and gray. And pink. And teals. I haven't found a color swatch of the exact color of the walls yet, but I know it will be a yellow. I love the vintage feel of the floral pattern in this design as well. Perhaps I can incorporate that with accessories later. I'll continue to keep you posted on my progress!

so fun Linds!!! love the color combo and the yellow floral design!! and those shoes!! Also the new background of your blog.. I could def see those colors in your craft room, very inspiring, fun to hear you are progressing and can't wait to hear how it continues!!
saw your comment on 20SB and just thought i'd pop by and say hello and thanks for popping by my blog.
i love the color scheme for the craft room. we have a 2-bedroom house and i really want to turn the spare room into a craft room, but i haven't been able to commit because i'm afraid i'm going to re-do it and then get preggo and have to turn it into a baby room. anyway, it sounds like it's going to be so cozy and lovely when it's finished.
good luck!
